Tami Bar-Lev is a California born, Tel-Aviv based Milliner, who designs and creates hats and head-pieces for private clients, retail, editorials, fashion shows and TV. She specializes in bridal wear and fashion statement pieces.
After graduating from the “Shenkar” College of fashion design with a B.D degree, Tami went on to study millinery in London UK, where she also had voluble work experience at renowned Milliner – Piers Atkinson’s studio.
Tami developed her own unique style, creating modern and fashion forward headpieces. Regarded as a pioneer in her field in the local fashion scene, her creations are characterized by a fun and witty style, remaining sophisticated and unique. Each of Tami’s one-of-a-kind hats are hand-crafted with great attention to detail using her traditional millinery skills.
You might recognize amongst her well-known pieces, the Pineapple turban, the Banana hat, and her Yesterday’s news headpiece. As seen at the Mira Zwillinger NYBFW runway shows and other collaborations with top designers as DODO Bar Or, Tami’s headpieces create the desirable and fresh look.
Brides to be are among Tami’s favorite clients. The headpieces she creates are considered a statues symbol for the stylish bride. It gives her great joy and satisfaction to create exclusive and personalized head pieces for brides on their memorable occasion and to help each bride define her own unique style.
